please note that as the original artist, crissie rodda retains full copyright to all of her artwork + derivatives, including custom designs + products that she produces.

please be aware that a client’s creative input does not equate to copyright ownership. nor does licensing an artwork mean that you have copyrights to the artwork. if you wish to buy the copyright to an artwork, you will need to contact crissie directly + request a full copyright buyout.

while using crissie's designs as ‘inspiration’ to inform your designs may not directly breaching copyright, it does have a host of ethical + moral issues. if crissie's work informs your own + you then monetise it, ethically that’s is a big fat no no + may impact your authenticity + credibility as an artist.

crissie has worked hard over many years to develop a strong signature style. this means that invariable she may use similar elements, motifs + colour palettes across a range of different designs. she therefore reserves the right to create designs of a similar nature, in her signature style, for licensed + custom artwork.
